SELECTING A REPRESENTATIVE:  Call (302) 559-7601 for your OWCP/FECA claim.

Clients may appoint a representative in writing. (OWCP won’t recognize any person as a representative until the claimant withdraws the authorization of any prior one. A representative may make a request or give direction to OWCP regarding the claims process including presenting or eliciting evidence, making arguments on facts or the law, and obtaining information from the case file, the same as the claimant.

Fees:  See the Act, Regulations, & Procedure Manual. We follow the Regulations and Procedures and work with your budget!

Per DFEC PM 2 1200 2. Authority and Citations. a. Under 5 U.S.C. 8127(a), and in accordance with 20 C.F.R. §10.700, a claimant may authorize an attorney or other individual to represent his or her interests in any proceeding before OWCP. b. 20 C.F.R. §10.700 also provides the following guidance with regard to representatives: (1) A statement signed by the claimant is required to establish the representative's appointment. 20 C.F.R. §10.700(a). (2) As there can only be one representative at any given time, OWCP will not recognize another person as representative until the claimant has withdrawn the authorization of the first individual. 20C.F.R. §10.700(b). (b) Approval where there is no dispute. Where a fee application that describes the services rendered in accordance with paragraph (a)(1) of this section is accompanied by a signed statement indicating the claimant's agreement with the fee as described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section, the application is deemed approved under the 1998 Regulations, (but a fee petition before the Appeals Board must be formally adjudicated.)

New:  We now have an optional online payment system in which neither your bank routing number or account number nor those of my Escrow account are visible to one another, but you can make payments in accordance with our agreement in response to an "invoice" directly into the Escrow account.  This system is apart from the time sheet and fee petition requirements in the rules that are followed as usual.  For further details please either use the Contact Us page on the website or call.  There is no extra charge for use of this service.

We only take FECA cases, and our reputation is sterling among clients, attorneys, and OWCP.  One Sr. CE even suggested raising rates due to the quality of our work (in and out of government) since 1985!

Most clients are quite satisfied.  Persistence and care usually pay off, but there is no written guarantee.
